About Applash
What does Applash do?
We turn manual business processes into working software. That can be custom software, automation, integrations, AI or web and mobile products, often several together.
We start with your business problem and choose the technology afterwards.
Are you a web development agency?
No. We build websites and apps when they are the right answer, but we begin by understanding your processes and where time is lost. The goal is a business that runs better, not just a product that launches.
Where are you based?
Our headquarters are in Mohali, Punjab, India, and we have offices in the USA, Canada and Australia. Because our teams span time zones, someone is usually inside your working day.
Which industries do you work in?
We have built products for education, pharma and healthcare, and fintech, plus sales tools, community platforms and service businesses. If your industry is not on our list, we start with the problem and learn the sector as part of preparation.
Working with us
How do we get started?
Send us a message through the Let's Talk form or the Contact Us page. A senior person reads it within one business day and replies with questions or a time to talk.
After a short call, we send a written view within five working days: what to automate first, what the solution could look like and a cost range.
Do I need to know what technology I need?
No. Most people know what is painful but not what can be automated. Describe how the work happens today and where it gets stuck, and we will work out the rest.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement before the first call.
Do we have to replace our existing tools?
Usually not. We connect and improve the tools you already use and only build something new where nothing fits.
Who owns the software you build?
Ownership and licensing are agreed up front and written into the project agreement, so there are no surprises later.
Pricing and timelines
How much does a project cost?
It depends on what is being built, so we do not publish a price list. After we understand your process, our written view includes a cost range, and we agree scope and price in a proposal before work starts.
We would rather start with the one process that hurts most than sell you a large project you do not need.
How long does it take?
It depends on scope. We build in stages, so the part that matters most is usable early, then we add to it. We give you an estimate after we understand the work, not before.
Can we start small?
Yes, and we recommend it. Starting with one process lets you see results quickly and decide what to do next with real evidence.
Technology and security
What technology do you use?
We choose technology to fit the problem, not the other way round. Our team works with:
- **Backend:** Laravel (PHP), Node.js with Express, and Python with FastAPI - **Frontend:** React, Next.js, Vue.js and TypeScript - **Mobile:** Flutter and React Native - **Databases:** MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB - **AI:** LLMs and RAG (answering questions from your own documents and data), plus automation and integrations
If your project needs something else, we will tell you honestly whether we are the right team for it.
Is our data safe?
We design for least-privilege access, role-based permissions, encryption in transit and at rest where it applies, and audit trails for important actions. The exact measures, and any regulations that apply to you, are agreed with you at the start of a project.
Can a system run without an internet connection?
Yes, when the situation needs it. We have built systems that run entirely on a local network and sync when a connection is available, for example in factories where Wi-Fi cannot be trusted.
How do you use AI?
Only where it removes work. We use it for tasks such as reading documents, classifying requests and answering questions from your own data, and we keep a person responsible for decisions that must be right.
After launch
Do you support the system after launch?
Yes. Technology does not stop at launch. We can monitor, maintain and improve the system as your business grows, under an agreement we set up with you.
Can you improve a system someone else built?
Often, yes. We review it first, tell you honestly what is worth keeping and what is not, and then agree a plan.
What if our needs change during the project?
They usually do. Building in stages means we can adjust direction as we learn, and we agree changes in writing so scope and cost stay clear.
